Miniature Car Models Look Like Real Cars
by ChinaBambi
Incredible miniature model artist Michael Paul Smith has created a wonderful series of photographs illustrating the cars in a 1950s American town of his own imagination called Elgin Park. The artist uses clever forced perspective tricks to place the vehicles he creates into real-world life-sized settings, and his painstaking attention to detail ensures that the miniature model cars hold up to the scrutiny of a close-up shot. Luckily, he also provides us with paired shots to show how he created the perspective illusion. You can find more photos on his website or his Flickr.
Amazing photos and very clever work!
